Hm… what are the first five things that come to mind ?? …

5 things about Persona 5:

1. Persona 5 is a game that was released in Japan in 2016, with its updated re-release, Royal, being released in 2019.

2. Each of the main characters in the game has at least 2 names - their real one and a codename, but the main character - even though you get to choose their name at he beginning of the game - has 3: a codename, a name used in the official manga, and a name used in the anime which is his canonical name.

3. The re-release, Royal (or The Royal), made several huge additions to the original’s story including the two new characters, a lot of new development for an existing character and tens of hours of new story content.

4. One of the main characters’ names is Akechi Goro which is most likely a reference to the famous detective from Edogawa Rampo’s stories - Akechi Kogoro.

( this one was on my mind because I just read one of the stories he appeared in hehe )

And 5. Persona 5 is an amazing game with well-written characters, engaging gameplay and a great story that I am completely obsessed with and I really REALLY want to force one of my friends to play so I can talk about it with them. Alas, I can not force someone to spend upwards of £50 on a game no matter how many times I say “It’s so good I promise.”

Please play Persona 5 Royal. It will change your life.

anyway, my sister can't access it on her e-reader and prefers short fics, but I wanted her to read this fic so I agreed to read it for her on recordings

I realised after recording the first chapter that I probably should ask(?) to do this, as it's your intellectual property even though I'm not planning on posting the audio anywhere as I hate the sound of my own voice.

YES YES that was absolutely intentional and I'm soooo glad when people notice these little details and specifically that parallel between the start and the end, which I was very proud of!!! I love putting in this kind of fun symbolism #mysymbolism
