It is honestly hilarious how absolutely batshit the Helluva fandom goes whenever a new criticism video drops. The way y’all refuse to just let people not like the show or even fall out of love with it because you’re SO convinced that anyone who doesn’t like it is either a homophobe, or a hater. News flash y’all, not everything revolves around sexuality, and people’s opinions can change. Also, nobody has to like the same shit you do. Stop putting the show on this godlike pedestal that everyone and their mama should bow down to. It’s like they see these critique videos as a personal attack on THEM and act like the world is ganna end and strip away their love for the show, when guess what? That won’t happen. That’s why this fandom comes off as so insecure to me cause how are you THIS dense and upset that someone doesn’t like the same thing you do?
It also doesn’t help that it’s crystal clear that 95% of this fandom NEVER watches the critique videos, especially all the way through. All they do is read the title, and if it’s anything remotely negative towards the show, they pounce, and good lord does it SHOW. At the end of the day, it’s a fucking cartoon and these people get WAAAY too emotionally attached to it. Then they’ll pull a “let’s spread some positivity”- or what I like to call TOXIC positivity because y’all just can’t accept the fact that not everyone is going to be into the same thing you are and not everyone is going to like the writing of the show, and someone being critical of it or just expressing their dislike for it and why isn’t an attack. The only toxic ones here are the people who act like this, not the critiquers.
Hey guys, I collaborated with @TheLoadingCrew on another of his D&D Alignment videos, this time on Morty. It's in 30m, but stay tuned afterwards, because then HE's in a video I made on making an RPG setting feel like Rick and Morty
