Vampire: Someone offers you a chance at immortality. Do you take it, and why or why not?

Yes, I take the offer. Of course I’d prefer to get that offer in a few years rather than right now so that I’d actually register as a full adult in people’s minds, but I guess you shouldn’t look a gift unicorn in the mouth.

As for why, I want to see human advancement. One of my big dreams is to be alive for first contact, and I want to see everything beyond that too. Not just in an aliens sense, but I want to see every kind of advancement and the history that takes place in the future. I cant to see changes that the scale of a human life simply does not allow. 

Of course, this could end up a terribly depressing pursuit. Watching people I care about die would be heart wrenching, and I’d live to see the end of the world, be it human made or by shifts in the cosmos. Living beyond that is the scariest part, in my opinion. So I’d most prefer imperfect immortality.

 Genie: If you had one wish that would come true and couldn’t be reversed, what would you ask for?

Call me a hippie but I’d most certainly go for world peace. Imagine the amount of pain that would be avoided. “The pain in the world is immeasurable" has two meanings, first, that its quite literally immeasurable, as it is a feeling and idea constructed by the mind and thus has no mass, volume, etc. But its also immeasurable in how much of it there is. Suffering would still happen on a daily basis, but if the wars, the acts of terror, and the general aggression between different countries could be erased, things would be much better.

Also I’m talking about aliens again here, but I think it’s best that we get world peace figured out before first contact. We need to present ourselves well and certainly not be a planet with such an easily exploitable weakness.

Fury: What is a word/phrase that you dread to hear?

This answer is certainly going to be very different from my previous ones. Also warning right now for profanities, cause this is about the words I hate and assume everyone else loathes them too. Also a tiny bit of TMI.

I totally hate the slang terms for female genitals, “pussy,” “cunt,” and just about every vulgar term in that vein really REALLY rub me the wrong way. I’m kind of just a straight laced person to begin with, but I think another big part of why I hate them so much is that they’re main uses are really misogynistically charged and quite frankly I’m not up for that shit at all.

Though one time I was talking to a cashier at a sex shop and she used the term “kitty cat,” and my thoughts were pretty much “whoa, what a wonderful alternative phrase! I really like that she says that instead!” so basically thats my thoughts on that. No aliens in this answer sorry.
