BE HEARD, BE STRONG, BE PROUD!

@theirguilt     ...      sunny has a well-selected variety of muses on her blog. i know that most ppl prefer not to interact with 13W muses (as far as my dash goes at least) so i admire her dedication towards these muses a lot! she does a great job at portraying her muses! also, the simplicity of that blog? love it! in a way, it makes me feel so at ease!

THE  BRUISE  ON  HIS  SIDE ,    it’s    obvious     &     there   was   no   way   he   would  be   able   to   hide   it.        not   from   his   parents.        &    not   from   peter.         it   was   the   result   of   a   stupid    decision.         but    it’s    not   a  decision  that   he  regrets.      just   one   he  wishes  he  thought   through  better.     but   it   doesn’t   change   the   fact   that   he   saw   a   friend   in  need.      zach    getting   into  it   with   everyone.     monty,   bryce.        he’d   gone   in  without   a  second   thought.     without   taking   into  account   his   position   at   the   moment,    cane    &   all.      ❛     i   don’t   really   know            ❜        but   it’s   one   of   the   people   in  the  brawl.     maybe   monty   for  pushing  him   agianst   the   locker.       maybe    someone   else   for  pushing  him.        a   punch   not   even  meant   for   him.       but   the  bruise   is  there   nonetheless.        &   it’s   clear   peter   wants   answers.         he   offers    a   sad   smile.      ❛      there   was   a   brawl      &     i   just   needed   to  help   zach,      &   guess   one  of  the   jocks   hit   me   in   the  process.          you   should’ve   seen  me   with  the  cane,   though.     ❜      some   humor  to  ease  the  tension  if  possible.   

there’s a groan escaping his lips as he felt her lift him from the ground, tilting his head back murmuring under his breath. “mack -- mackenzie..” he protested, but it wasn’t like he could exactly squirm too wildly in the moment. so he finally met his match when it came to a fight, letting out a warm breath he reached up lazily to wipe the familiar warm liquid dripping down his chin. letting out a slight breathy laugh. “..don’t tell dad..?” 

That doesn’t sound too good. He’d known Clay was struggling but he didn’t know he was struggling THIS MUCH. It’s rough, seeing someone so kind and someone he’s known for so long struggle so immensely. “If you didn’t feel anything, you wouldn’t be telling me this, Clay. Do you want to talk about it?”

the only person he could remotely lean on, who he trusted more than anybody in this moment. it was clay jensen. when he thought being 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆 was a word so distant to him. there was a deafening sound ringing in his ears as his brain was in overdrive fueled of anxiety and painful memories. of course, he wanted to be strong. he wanted to move pass this, but the emotional damage was never going to go away. it would forever be embedded deeply in his brain. it was just when he could learn to control how he reacted. that was gonna take a long time, and he was painfully aware of that. his fingers curled into the fabric of clay’s shirt taking in a deep breath. “i’m..i’m sorry..” his words muffled against the others shoulder. 

staring over the others face, shaking his head he lowered his gaze back to the photos he took over the weekend he was developing. “i know.” there was a quiet mumble leaving his lips. pursing his lips together carefully hanging up a photo along the line, side glancing over towards Winston, offering an awkward smile. he could tell he was trying to be nice, reassuring. a friend. “i’m..it’s fine. i’m okay.” 

whipping his head around towards her as he gasped -- placing a hand over his heart. “mackenzie!” trying to act as dramatic as possible before theres a brief pause flickering his gaze away. a slow smirk forming onto his lips shaking his head at her. “okay -- that was a fucking good one..i’m impressed.”
