yeah! okay honestly that da4 concept art of spirit-possessed skeletons, like, autopsying a dragon is super sexy & makes me calm the way the peak of a roller coaster does. but also Kristina Gehrmann’s paintings based on the terror are so desolate & evocative and the way she renders landscapes always gives me this sense of cold comfort

not to sound edgy but, like, maybe a raven? fond of shiny things, clever (if i can say that about myself), playful but kinda ominous, and very, very good at remembering past wrongs lmao

ooh probably the great lakes! they really put a healthy respect for large bodies of water into me as a child. but the desert in the middle of a late summer/early autumn night is also gorgeous

i’d plant pomegrante trees and native plants! the pomegranate trees are bc i’m jewish & they grow super well in vegas

the grass is yellow from the summer heat. the only trees are just hints of foliage on the distant horizon. the sky is mostly blue, but big grey clouds are rolling in. even the sound of grasshoppers and birdsong is muffled by the impending storm. every sensation feels like a thick, heavy comforter

the ocean, for sure! i wanna be deep and unfathomable and beautiful in a viscerally terrifying and dangerous way

not really! the only insects that squick me out are centipedes and millipedes

probably not tbh. as much as i joke about wanting to be a vampire, i wouldn’t want to outlive my loved ones by such a vast amount of time

i’ve had a few encounters with ghosts! the first one was when i was 10 years old. i remember waking up and seeing a woman who looked close to my mom’s age standing by my bed. she told me to call for her if i needed anything, but she disappeared when i asked her name. i didn’t see her again after that

Gore: are you squeamish?

not really? i’m totally fine with body horror and gore, but for whatever reason self-inflicted harm skeeves me out. it’s the same with watching other people get shots (but weirdly enough i’m fine about watching when i get shots)

i really like hocus pocus! i’m also a fan of pretty much any vincent price horror movie

i literally cannot pick a single favorite anything so: bastion, dishonored, dragon age 2, final fantasy x-2, and honestly i really enjoy the danganronpa games

sleep, mostly. i like to make tea and cuddle the cats, since all three of us get very sleepy on rainy days

i soak in the tub with bubble bath and a book, or i viciously scrub every surface in the house. or i meditate. or i play doom
