As someone with a Soft Light Aura, you are deeply inspired and probably feel pulled to be a part of something greater than yourself. You are empathetic and often take on the feelings of those around you. While this can sometimes take a toll on you, you are learning how to save space for yourself, which will ultimately only make you stronger and more helpful to others.

1. What do you want to get out of playing this character?
I like having a new vampire to play, in the past when I’ve played vampires (namely Colton) they were so old they knew how to be a vampire and had absolute control, Juniper doesn’t have absolute control, and it’s interesting trying to balance control and a lack on control.
2. Describe your character(s) with three words.
Insecure, privileged, artistic
3. What made you decide to write this muse?
Originally I wanted Juniper to be an out of place rich girl here, dealing with being on her own for the first time and then having to learn how to be on her own, while learning about supernaturals and the slaves and just everything, it seemed like a fun idea.
4. If you could change one event in your muse’s life (in their main or canon verse), what would you change?
I would change a few things that have happened since she got to the island, I won’t go into specifics but some plots seemed like they would go somewhere and didn’t and that kind of changed where I wanted Juniper to go originally, I’d change a few things like that.
5. If you could tell your muse one thing, what would you tell them?
I’d tell her that Colton never did actually care about her, and that he took advantage of her, it’s something she knows deep down, but she needs to really acknowledge it. I’d also tell her to trust herself, trust her instincts and to stop pushing people away when things get difficult.
6. If you could give your muse one gift, what would you give them?
I’d give her the gift of not giving a fuck. She care so much about what people think, and how people view her, that I’d like to take that away for her. Someday it may happen.
7. If you had to take one positive thing away from your muse, what would you take away?
I’d take away the small amount of control she’s scraped together since Colton was killed, I’d make her a feral vampire attacking anyone who got too close.
8. If you could “borrow” one aspect of your muse and apply it to yourself or your own life, what would you borrow?
I’d borrow her determination to write. She’s great at keeping herself on task, maybe immortal life gives you the ability to focus on one thing at a time? Who knows.
9. Do you genuinely want your muse to be happy? What do you think would make them most happy in life?
I do want her to be happy, I really do. But I think she has a few more life lessons to learn first.
10. Do you enjoy putting your muse through angst? What do you think would break their heart the most?
Oh yes, I love putting her through angst, as for what would break her heart the most? I’ve already done it. Now I need to rebuild her a little more before I tear her down again. If you just keep tearing your muse down over and over again it will break them, it will make them have nothing left to live for, what’s the point in even trying if they just keep getting torn down? But if you build them up a little, let them get comfortable, let them start to have a glimmer of hope, and then pull the rug out from under them, it not only helps make the effect more impactful on the muse, but on any readers as well. We all know how boring it is when you read something and it’s like “Oh X is getting hurt and tortured- AGAIN”; try and make it hurt a little more by giving them a break sometime.
11. What do you love about your muse?
I love her freedom, even if she doesn’t realize she has it, she is free to become the vampire she wants to become.
12. What do you hate about your muse?
I hate her willingness to just push people away when things get hard, of course, occasionally when writing partners disappear and it’s a hinderance to your own plot to have them just waiting around for other characters sometimes it is necessary to have a character push away from one who is never around because you need to be able to continue your plot and not just wait around forever for people.
13. What about your muse amuses you?
How flustered she gets even now after everything she’s seen and everything she’s done.
14. What about your muse makes you sad?
Her loss of innocence, she never had a chance.
15. How would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time?
Juniper is what happens when an artistic kid grows up too fast, is given too many options and a bad influence.
16. Would you like your muse as a person if you met them in real life?
I think I’d like her, she’s cute, she’s passionate and artistic and she’s determined to make things better for herself.
17. In what ways are you better than your muse? In what ways are they better than you?
I don’t believe in comparing myself to my muses, that feels too self-insert-y and in my mind roleplay isn’t about self inserting, it’s about telling a story.
18. Why do you think you connect to your muse?
Well I made her up, so there’s that.
19. What aspect of your muse’s personality is most important to you? What aspect of your muse’s personality do you think is most important to them? Is it the same? Why or why not?
Her determination, no matter what happens to her, she still keeps trying. She would say her creativity is her most important aspect of her personality, but I think they work hand in hand.
20. Has your character(s) changed over the time that you have been playing them? How have they changed?
Almost everything about Juniper has changed, and yet in a lot of ways not a lot has changed. Things as deep as her species have changed, but things like her tendency to ramble when she’s nervous have stayed the same. I’m excited to see how else she changes and how she holds onto the little things that make her her.
