Whenever the nights were slow, Jason entertained himself with smoking. The building ledge was his to enjoy, blowing smoke rings amongst other tricks in the book. He knew them well, having already able to do most when he was still pint sized. It should have bothered him that he was so preoccupied by it due to sheer boredom that he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, but it was fine to let himself go even for a little while, wasn't it? Wrong. Sitting in the shadow was a silhouette he should have recognised, with a face he should have reacted to sooner. "You shouldn't creep up on me like that," Jason grinned, eyes squinting around the corners when he recovered from his surprise, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and killing it on the concrete before turning to sit facing the man. "C'mere. I missed you." He patted his thigh, almost leering at the older man. "Where have you been all this while?"
