She chuckled. “I think you’re misunderstanding me when I talk about payment,” she said, stepping over a bit of gore and frowning at the blood on her shoes. She’d have to get rid of them. The skirt too. Shame. She liked this skirt. “I don’t need your money.” She grinned. “Payment comes in many forms.”
She frowned as the gun went off. She never did like guns but then again she was also dreadful at using them. Knives were much safer in her hands.
“I can, although I highly doubt elevators to be the safest method of travel,” she said. Her hesitance stemmed more from her hate of small spaces than any actual problems with the elevator but he didn’t have to know that. She laughed. “Code name. Never had to use one of those before…” she chuckled, amused and looked around, gathering her magic at her fingertips. “I suppose I’ve always been fond of the legend of Pandora’s box. Pandora will do.”
“Huh.” Jason blinked in mild disbelief before returning the grin. “Okay, I can do that then. Forgive a poor man, I promise I’m rich in many other ways, personality, firing skills.” He was running his mouth, nerves running wether he wanted to accept it or not. — “Alright Pandora,” He nodded, not liking the link of that particular legend. He turned to the stairs instead, frowning at the idea of having climb them. And then the idea hits him as he opens the stair way door, staring up at the blackness of the area above them. He shoots a flare, frowning as it was absorbed into it. “This. Does not look like a good idea,”
