Sometimes people need your encouragement more than they need your advice.
There is more grace in God than there is sin within us.
What do you think is the biggest threat against Christians today?
I wrote this on Facebook a while back-
“I am not a person that lives in fear of danger, but I do believe that there are several dangers that presently face the Church: spirituality that ignores Holy Spirit, christianity that ignores Christ, works that ignore worship, tolerance that ignores truth, freedom that ignores responsibility, pessimism that ignores possibilities, and the Heaven-sent that ignore the Hell-bound.”

What should I do after ive lost that fire to follow jesus?
That’s a good question.
In my opinion, the company you keep makes all the difference.
Do those that you’re closest to have an encouraging influence on your faith? Or are they critical of church, pastoral leadership, classic teachings of the church?
Do those that you’re closest to hold you accountable to the faith you claim, and also to the dreams that God has put in your heart? Or do they distract you from those dreams, and shift focus from faith?
Do any of the activities that you do with those that you’re closest to advocate for the voiceless, protect the unprotected, bring freedom to captives? Or are the things you all do together exclusively for fun?
If you think find that your friends’ lives aren’t necessarily headed toward greater love for God... they won’t be able to lead you toward that either.
The old adage is true- your friends will influence the direction and the quality of your life. That’s doubly true of your faith.

You can’t hang out with negative people and expect to live a positive life.
If you believe it, do it.
If you preach it, live it.
If you want it, go for it.
If you need it, pray for it.
If you hate it, change it.
If you find someone that believes in you when you’re not sure that you believe in yourself- keep them around.
