Part Four! Ending. (This post might be a bit short.)

Yay, they’re all safe. But seriously?? She had to be shot in the shoulder... Ah well.

Poor Brax... ah...

Oh, Daphne finally called Aiyana Aya instead of Clover, which by the way is kind of... um... No offense to any Clovers out there, but it’s a bit bland to me. “Clover is a charming, perky choice if you want to move beyond hothouse blooms like Rose and Lily.” WHOA. I googled the name and found this sentence on nameberry.com. The author must have seen this page because at one point, it mentioned how the name Clover was a weed and not pretty or something, unlike Rose or Lily. Hm... Daphne, I still feel like she needs a new name. Afterall, she wants to get rid of everything tying her to the Garden, right?

I can’t believe Salma did that. Ugh. At least the twins are back safely, even if they aren’t the same. And yay for being able to stay with the Drivers! *ahem* Drivas.

Anyways, I don’t have much more to say. So,

Part Three! Page 279.

So she’s escaped to the mountains with Kiran and Daphne. Sorry, Varick and Daphne. I really don’t like that name. Anyhow, they escaped. I have a feeling Daphne’s taking a certain liking to Kiran. And Oh! Brax is back.

Does Kiran have a British accent? I mean... Driva. >< NO, it’s an Australian accent! I don’t know.

“Kiran is not dead.” The only thought that went through my head when I read this sentence was ‘Kiran is dead.’ But... I guess he has a fever. The bear gave him a fever? So he got injured... yes, and she cut out his infected skin...yes, so then he got a fever? I’m confused.

I think Kyna is his sister or something. I still think he’s fond of Aiyana. (Such a pretty name!) Daphne needs a name of her own choosing, I think.

I wonder what rules Kiran has broken, that he can’t tell his people...

Lorcan is her father?! WHAT... Daphne’s father didn’t love her... Heartless men in this world...

Ok, so I finished the book, BUT, since I’ve had a lack of posts recently, I’m going to split it into three posts. One for each part of the book. So... On with part two! Page 221.

So... we’re going to pretend that I don’t know what happens after part two, but I promise that I’m only giving my honest initial reactions.

Starting from an odd point, KIRAN CAN TALK. Is it because he isn’t actually a Driver? Whattttt... and they’re taking Daphne with them. I wonder if Daphne’s ever had an actual name other than her garden name. Maybe we’ll find out.

That doctor completely violated her, what in the world. Basically, she lives in a world where women are sex slaves. I think I mentioned something similar in the last post. That’s a very sad world to live in... It’s like a rewind of history, where men had complete control over their daughters and wives. Except now, it’s gone further and they’re treated like animals or play things.

It’s kind of creepy that the mayor gave his son a girl seven years his elder. At least I think that’s how much older she is. I did the calculations when I was reading it, but I might have forgotten. It’s also creepy that he has a young girl to accompany him.

This world is crazier than I thought, where the women take pride in being used. Eck!

Anyways, I’m moving on the the third part.
