"O guia do Cavaleiro para o vício e virtude" foi lançado recentemente pela @galerarecord e imagino que a edição esteja linda igual a gringa. Esse foi o tipo de leitura que eu precisava, rápida de fazer, divertida, com ação e momentos emocionantes.Além de personagens maravilhosos e uma ótima ambientação do século XVIII. This week’s #yaforadults is a tough one: I was so incredibly excited to read it because the premise and representation were so good, but it fell seriously flat for me. THE GRAND TOUR. Sign me up. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - The plot: why oh why did it have to become a stupid adventure with potentially world-changing consequences and poorly executed plot points? WHY. I would have been beyond excited to read the hilarious Grand Tour shenanigans of Monty and Percy, that is already enough. No need for a forced plot on top of what was a already a perfectly good storyline - The ending was beyond sugar sweet and ridiculous. Made me seriously roll my eyes - It deals with a lot of important topics (illness, race, female emancipation, sexual identity) but sometimes I felt like things were just thrown in and not treated appropriately.
