I'm a big fan of grandparents, in general. And as I've mentioned before, I love an intergenerational story. While I'm fond of the sweet ones, though, my favourites are the ones with some humour, like "The Frank Show" (2012) by David Mackintosh. 👴👴👴 When a little boy has to bring a family member to speak at school, he makes it known that he'd prefer a cool uncle like his friend's, or even one of his parents. Instead, the only one available is his crabby, cantankerous grandpa, Frank, who thinks nothing measures up to "the old days". But maybe, given a chance, Grandad Frank might be more interesting than anticipated...
