Hiro Hamada from Big Hero 6's a good choice.

Jerin from A Brother's Price by Wen Spencer. Like, Hiccup if he had a fuckton of siblings. And marries 10 sisters. (Sororal polygamy in a society with low-male birth rates)

This was very hard originally because I was like... every smart guy nerdy character. And then kinda blanked on all the shows I've ever watched.

b = bed; what’s the sleeping situation like? are there regular sleeping arrangements - does anyone like to sleep alone?

I like to think they each have their own separate bedrooms and then have one larger bedroom with a massive bed for all six. It's a very extravagant idea but that's what fandom is for!!!!!!

Hiccup technically hasn't slept alone since Toothless moved into his house, so he probably enjoys sleeping with someone and having Toothless right there.

I have to assume, especially on the Edge, Astrid prefers to sleep alone. Hiccup, when describing how their huts on the Edge can be whatever they individually want says, "Astrid, you can make yours the most heavily armed bedroom in the known Viking world." She also sleeps with weapons under her pillow.

I could see Snotlout really preferring to sleep next to someone.

After hearing Astrid and Hiccup call each other "honey" in the Homecoming short, I was like, yeah, the OT6 do this.

Ruffnut also had a list of things for Fishlegs to call her when they were uhhh illegally married? (Their officiator was her brother and he wasn't actually able to do that.) She's probably the one who's crazy on them the most. I think she would do it for mostly the giggles, but probably enjoys it.

I don't think they do shortening of names. Like, Hiccup calls Snotlout and Fishlegs "Lout, Legs" in the first movie during a battle scene, but... that doesn't really become a thing. Though, Tuff once called Astrid "Hoff" in RTTE, and honestly, I vibe so hard.

Debatable who would cringe at nicknames. Tuffnut is completely unlikely because he is impervious to cringe. I think Hiccup would be the most embarrassed by a nickname/pet name. Astrid, too, especially if its something cutesy.

Debatable if "dear" is something they call each other since Viggo referred to Hiccup, in particular, using that language.
