36:In your opinion, what makes a good anime?
A good anime has a compelling, well thought through plot and most of all: complex characters. It's not important to put in all of the backstory, hints are perfectly fine (as seen with Death Note) but the behavior of the characters needs to be comprehensive and understandable. There needs to be some sort of chemistry between characters, stuff that people write fanfictions about because if there are these little details that fans can pick on and turn into something creative, then you have a good anime. This doesn't have to be romantic at all, though! i.e. Attack on Titan focuses heavily on the trust put in a group and that is shown through these little things like Levi leading his squad through that forrest and they trust him with his decisions and just. yeah. I have a lot of animes in mind right now that fit this description - animes ranging from romance to hardcore action and yet they are all good animes because they are just greatly executed.
40:Thoughts on live-action adaptations?
I didn't enjoy the live action of Death Note and since then I have somewhat given up on live action stuff because in my opinion it takes away the magic of anime? I mean yeah of course it's kinda cool to imagine all the stuff from anime happening in real life but then again the anime world is a world I don't want to mix with the current one because there is just so much greatness in it that the real world doesn't have..So basically, not a fan of live-action stuff.
