Dreams do come true! ⚡️🌈🌈🌈 M U G L E R! ✨✨✨ One of my favourite slays during fashion week was meeting the creative director of Mugler @cadwallader and attend a private resee of the collection in its entirety at @muglerofficial HQ. A rainy afternoon in Paris, I went to Mugler HQ with my japanese friend @yoko_kondo_thestyleinsight As we ascended the stairs I began to have a small case of cold feet. I had mixed feelings of both excitement and nervousness since Mugler is such an all-time favourite of mine. Upon entering HQ we received a warm welcome and hugs from the Mugler Team, which immediately set my cold feet to rest. As you all know, a large quantity of my referencing and inspiration for my poses and looks are a homage to old Mugler shows; as Thierry Mugler says best “I made clothes because I was looking for something that didn't exist. I had to try to create my own world.” As I gazed the looks on each of the models and requested for them to model my favorite pieces; it gives me such an incredible feeling and appreciation that I am slaying it! Until @cadwallader came over to say hi and explain his collection for house of #mugler he noted he was making a modern twist and hoped everyone could wear it. No matter what size, shape, colour of gender you have, You can wear and slay a mugler outfit. Mugler outfits can transform you into a much stronger and fiercer you! Casey explained how he wants to make everyone feel sexy and confident within themselves by wearing his designs. As I said goodbye to the Mugler Team, it made me realize that things happen for a reason and everything serves a higher purpose. I will be forever a fan of Mugler and now Casey’s vision! He is a true visionary backed up with a strong sense of adaptability on a brand approach.
