Quick PSA: This is what mental illness looks like. It’s invisible. It’s not a cross eyed maniac in a straight jacket — it’s just a regular person who’s trying to live their life. Sure, there are exceptions and variables, just like with anything, but before you tell me “we should just rid the world of mental people and we’d all be much safer”, please remember that I’m a mental person and I’d really like to be given the chance to make a difference in the world.
