HOW WAS WORK
WORK WAS GREAT. the bosses showed us how to do the stuff and let us demo the food and drink. they all seem very laid back (but still strict because they are the bosses lol). im worried about the cash register because you need to input things in quickly but i guess it’d be easier once i memorize the menu. the main boss told us to be careful with the pizza equipment because he burned his hand many times handling it. out of the hired workers, i think i’m the only one with previous work experience. also!! i got a shirt!!
how do you get a guy to stop asking if i am available to hang
1) you can ignore him like i did to dayton when he asked for my kakao and tried talking to me
2) you can change the subject-> e.g. “So let’s hang out soon!!”/“Do you want to hang out?”“Haha, yeah, so what are you up to? :)”
3) say your mom won’t let you. this excuse works and use it while you still can. or, if they’re like “what? but you’re (practically) an adult. Why do you need their permission??” “Sorry, my parents are super strict :(”
4) you can actually be that busy, or at least do something everyday which will take up part of the day -> e.g. “oh sorry, I have to volunteer today” “okay. When does it end? we can hang out after you finish!” “Oh, I don’t know when it ends, sorry”-> if you wanna be nice but also mean after that scenario, add “I’ll text you when I’m done okay” but don’t text back or text back super late and say it’s too late to hang out now, and perhaps use advice #3 from above
