Draco didnt like to consider himself the jealous or easily hurt type. He liked to believe he was guarded and secure, and grounded when it came to emotions. Despite all evidence to the contrary, that is how he preferred to see himself. 

He was not the type to be used. Abused, perhaps. He had been beaten down one too many times for his own comfort- but never by a romantic partner. He wasnt the one who got attached or hurt, the one who wondered what was wrong with him- who found himself staying up all night wondering where his partner had gone to. That wasn’t who he was supposed to be.  He wasnt that person.  Until, he was. Until Emil. Three days after he and Emil had hooked up- had gone all the way for the first time in Dracos stupid pathetic life- and Draco still hadnt heard from him. They’d courted for weeks! they’d been... having this fling for over two months! Draco was horribly wrecked by the thought that Emil had lied to him. had used him.  Three days of looking for Emil- of waiting to hear from him like some lovestruck romcom star. Someone that the bewitching Sisters sang about. He was not one of those girls. The more it hurt, however, the angrier he became.  He could handle physical violence, but emotional? Where was the reasoning behind that? Perhaps he was to blame, however, for not telling Emil that he was a virgin- or perhaps Emil had already known- perhaps that was why Emil had vanished- perhaps he was just a conquest. A trophy to be had.  a ticket to be punched.  Draco was brooding in the common room. Seething, really. So violently angry and hurt that he might explode. it took seven tries to read the page in the textbook he was supposed to be focused on.
