TONIGHT on my @kmhd_jazz_radio show - things have been very heavy lately, so to counter balance, tonight I'm keepin' the one light & breezy with some SONGS of SUMMER . Travel down the dial to 89.1 fm in #Portland . 7 - 9 pm (psd) . Stream it live at kmhd.org (9 pm central, 10 pm eastern) . Summertime is my favorite time to DJ. Perhaps the music of summer reminds me of my youth, listening to the oldies station & tape recording the songs I liked so that I could listen to them endlessly & memorize the lyrics. . Though this is definitely an unusual summer, I refuse to go without my favorite summertime tunes. I guess more accurately, I'd describe tonight's show as songs I like to hear during this season.
