starter for thedawnwalker
Wanting to get a rest from Alfheim Online, eyes scanned websties of various game websites for the next big and coming VRMMO that was hitting the scenes. He set his interests upon Crescent Wings, a fairly new developmental game that just opened it's gates for beta testing. The concept was fairly new in the terms of virtual reality. Highly advanced civilizations in space and wielding magic? The combination was rarely put together because science conflicts with magic, even in a fantasy setting. Instantly he was ecstatic in supporting the game and purchased a beta key, downloading the game software to his new AmuSphere.
Moving over to his usual spot on his bed, he locked the virtual reality helmet onto his head, securing it in place, laying his head onto a pillow. "Link start," he spoke quietly, closing his eyes. Blackness lit up as he lost consciousness and the digital world replacing his sense. A log in/registry screen popped up before him asking for his details. He decided to continue his username trend, inputting "Kirito" into the box and moving onto the next screen. An avatar popped up before him followed by several others, hidden by transparencies and the peripheral of his vision. The class system was divided by races and were named after each planet, except Earth. The main class, Lunarian was the base class and was more suited for casual players. However, he set his sights on the Jupiter class which acted as nimble and quick characters, a skill set he highly preferred.
Selecting his class, the screens moved along to the base equipment settings, allowing the player to pick their base clothing with a color wheel to boot. Selecting his usual black for all pieces of clothing, he advanced the screen again to accept his settings. He was reminded that the game was in beta stages and could experience unintended issues while playing. Given he knew the power of the «Seed» that he distributed after the Sword Art Online incident, he wasn't particularly worried at this point if anything were to catch him off guard. If anything, he expected it at this point.
Thrown into the world, his avatar landed in Lunaria and was immediately set with an interaction dialogue with the tutorial guard. He went through the basic set of actions of attacking, skills, setting points to his attributes, the currency, and travelling. It was made apparent that they could use spaceships, powered by magic to travel through the universe but was currently limited to the Milky Way galaxy. He was extremely excited to begin his adventure before his last dialogue screen was swiftly slapped away with a new character. "Lunarian Princess," he read aloud as several guards around him stiffened up and stood at attention. Looking around, he spotted a figure exit a nearby building and immediately recognized her features as the poster girl on the website. He stood in a daze as he watched her approach him, hesitant to make a move in this situation.
