This Sunday night at 7pm Playhouse West Magnolia 1 (Studio 2,) I'm very blessed to be performing a scene from a very personal play. Now I don't have any direct ties to anyone in my family who fought in Vietnam. Though I come from a millitary family, a lot of my uncles, cousins, and even grandparents, were and are soldiers. I have a tremendous respect for them, and the men & women who have served. Though that's not the only aspect of this play that makes it personal, its the relationship of the family. It's the dialouge that sounds so real to me, it feels like the words actually came out of my own mouth. Its the bitter resentment of not being understood. I'm very proud and honoured to be performing this piece with a such a wonderful actress who is playing my sister @bethanybevan she has grounded me, and made me believe the circumstances that are occuring, allowed me to open up, and just be myself. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to be my sister in this.
