It is said that Monday sets the emotional tone for the week ahead. Many dread Monday or find it challenging. Since I am retired, I no longer dread Monday. Instead I look at Monday as a blank slate upon which I can write another chapter in my story. Yesterday, on the other hand, had me in a slump. Worrying about the snow-covered roads, I did not venture out to church. And that always makes Sunday feel "off." I was so tired yesterday and just felt out of it. I honestly think it had something to do with turning the clocks ahead. Add in the craziness and sadness in the world right now...well, I think you get the picture. The sun is shining, and I am slowly stepping into my Monday morning. The temps are going to get into the 50's today. If it's true that your Monday morning thoughts set the tone for your whole week, I think it's going to be good one.
