“Hey,” the Mandalorian says, giving a slight shake of the head as he digs the pads of his bare fingers into a jar of salve, “I’m not mad, Rey.”

The mix of various herbs and oils is applied delicately to the cut above Rey’s brow. Quite bluntly, the Mandalorian adds, “He deserved it. You did good, defending yourself.”

At least, the story she’d relayed to him had told him as much.

“I’m just glad I decided to come visit today.”

There was a pain in her hearts. One she couldn’t shake easily, and one that seemed so familiar to her - that it almost made her feel sick. Niamh was speaking her language, so to speak. The Doctor knew because; she had gone through that. The loneliest kind of lonely. Any kind of lonely, she was practically the expert on. 

She could say all this; she could explain the countless times that she had been left without a hand to hold, but-- none of it would work. No. But she might know what could.

“Get up.”

Her hair fell forward a little as she nodded at Niahm.

THE    FORCE,    it    pulled    him    towards    her    while    he    was    meeting    with    other    general’s    on    the    finalizer.    she    was    hurt,    he    could    sense    it.    feel    it.    a    part    of    him    relishes    into    it,    good    she    would    be    dead.    nothing    but    a    memory.    SHES    SO    CLOSE.    lips    twitch,    he's    moving    before    his    mind    even    registers    what    he's    doing.    "don't    move.    i    will    be    right    there."    his    voice    is    cold,    stern    with    a    hint    of    tenderness    behind    it    all.    

     “ That  won’t  work. ”  After  a  few  minutes  of  trailing  after  the  woman,  Sherlock  finally  catches  up  with  her  pace,  walking  beside  her,  hands  tucked  into  the  pocket  of  his  coat.  For  any  bypasser,  he  would  seem  relaxed  and  aloof,  but  inside  there  was  tension  lingering.  As  always  was,  whenever  he  was  anywhere  near  Irene.  “ He’s  far  too  paranoid  to  be  charmed  by  your  feminine  play,  miss  Adler.  As  soon  as  you  say  five  words  to  him,  he’ll  start  doubting  your  honesty.  Better  find  yourself  another  target  to  entice. ”
