I started rewatching #arresteddevelopment (HOLY CRAP, I first started watching it when I was 15!) this week, and I remembered that #jasonbateman is a great actor and someone I used to have a crush on, so he's this week's #mcm! He's always so good at being the "straight man" in comedic works, the voice of reason, the only normal one in the bunch. Besides Arrested Development, I love him in #zootopia, #dodgeball, #smokinaces, #upintheair, #couplesretreat, #thechangeup, #paul, #horriblebosses, and especially in #juno, which I think is his best performance to date - his character was an overgrown manchild, but he brought sympathy and humanity to the role that I wouldn't have normally expected. Bateman is just a great presence, and I'm loving this little nostalgia kick! I was so excited to read that Maddox Paige would get his own book, along the books we get little sights of Maddox, the bad boy who doesn’t share anything with anyone and doesn’t get close. Meghan is the only one who could imagine his perfect match and I can assure you that this book is steamy, original, funny and so much more!! . Kinsley has a heart of gold, there’s not an evil cel in her body, she gives everything she has with no regrets and never thinks to get something back from it. Her new job is at a shelter that needs a heart like hers, in Chicago the same city her best friend lives; so, when Maddox offers a place for her in his apartment, she moves right away, only to discover that maybe the feelings she had for him weren’t just as friendship but she is afraid of what could happen if she decides to act on them. . Maddox is the bad boy, you know the one who gets into fights, the true Rebel at heart and as baseball player, his whole life he’s only had one unconditional person, Kinsley; the only girl who knows him better than he does, she’s been with him in every step of the way, she is the only one who can make him a softy. But there’s a reason he is the way he is, his past was not good or happy, and there’s always something that triggers the past but he never thought he could push away the only one on his side…and maybe there’s no going back. . This book is perfection, I mean the hot scenes …pff some of the bests I’ve read, if there’s something you can be sure about any of Meghan’s books is that you’ll get an alpha male and some serious steamy scenes, not only that but I have to point out that Maddox is one of her best characters, I am sure is the bad boy vibe and the fact that this couple is EVERYTHING, the chemistry between these two is palpable… I am bewitched and I can’t wait to read anything Meghan throws our way!! . Dollar diese Komödie. Ich habe den Film erstmals kurz nach seiner Heimkinoveröffentlichung am 16.02.2012 auf Blu-ray Disc gesehen. Der Film ist aktuell bei Netflix verfügbar. ▪️ Inhalt: Mitch und Dave sind seit ihrer Kindheit beste Freunde. Doch die beiden leben völlig unterschiedliche Leben. Dave ist ein vielbeschäftigter Anwalt in einer namhaften Kanzlei, Gatte der wunderschönen Frau Jamie und Vater von drei Kindern. Mitch ist ein ungebundener Single, der für niemand anderen als sich selbst verantwortlich ist und keinerlei Verpflichtungen hat. Beide denken, dass der Lebensstil des jeweils anderen ihr eigentlicher Traum ist, und wünschen sich einen Rollentausch. Ihr Traum soll wahr werden, denn nach einer heftigen Partynacht pinkelt sie in einen Brunnen und wachen am nächsten Morgen im Körper des anderen auf. ▪️ Besetzung: Man sieht Ryan Reynolds als Mitch Planko, Jason Bateman als Dave Lockwood, Leslie Mann als Jamie Lockwood oder auch Olivia Wilde als Sabrina. ▪️ Epilog: Die Idee hinter WIE AUSGEWECHSELT ist nicht schlecht. Die Gags sind gut und sorgen für Lacher, doch gute Gags allein reichen nicht, um über die dünne Story hinweg zu täuschen. Die erste Filmhälfte dümpelt ein wenig vor sich hin und man hat das Gefühl es wurde versucht einen Gag an den nächsten zu reihen. Ab der Hälfte gewinnt der Film etwas an Fahrt, die Fülle an Gags wird etwas zurückgefahren, um mehr Emotionen Platz zu lassen. Die Hauptdarsteller machen ihren Job gut und der Film tut das, wofür er gedreht wurde – er unterhält.
