Day 12: Wasn’t expecting that

I finished the book T_T   T_T   T_T... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. (I was home sick today so I had a lot of time on my hands.)

While I was reading it, I was sure either Celia, Anastasia, Alex (because Anastasia), or Warren was the spy. If Warren was, then I guess he’s be a source of information for another evil person. (Is the EoD’s enemy, evil or good? Probably evil either way.) And then Alex came to tell them Tamara was taken and I was like IT’S ALEXXX!!

My friend, who has read this series before kept giving me the most awful spoilers like “Jennifer isn’t the only one who dies.” And “No, he doesn’t end up with either yet.” That last one was bad. ><

Speaking about that, I was going crazy with theories. Since Call was jealous of CeliaxJasper maybe he has a crush on Celia or Jasper. But then, in the first book he was overly fond of Aaron. BUT THEN he kept being jealous of Alex for talking to TAMARA. I got so confused. Who do he like?! Maybe no one for the time being, but I do hope he ends up with SOMEONE. (except Celia).

AARON DIED. :(((((((((((((((( If he doesn’t somehow come back to life I’m going to be really sad. Also, what Call did to Jennifer creeped me out so much.

Anastasia is his mother?! Well, Constantine’s mother? She’s old enough to be his grandmother. Wait, is she going to break him out of prison? Or is she going to get him released? What is her definition of “being there for him”?! It seems she wants him to be a good person, which is a little reassuring.

All the mage students find out their specialties with different elements, right? So Alex Strike has air, and Tamara has fire. Does being a Makar automatically make your specialty chaos magic? If so, will Alex’s specialty change? I’m curious.

Anyways... I shall join everyone in slowly dying waiting for the next book. I’m going to read The Battle of the Labyrinth next, look out for it!

Ok, so I finished the first two chapters today. So far, all they’ve done is go to the Collegium in their new outfits. >< Callum took a selfie of him and Aaron in the mirror. Why is that funny?

And the people at the Collegium? Some of them want to eliminate all the chaos ridden animals! I feel like they should treat them like other animals. Get rid of the vicious ones, keep the fluffy, nice ones. But alas (”earwax!” ><), they want to kill them all.

Those people also want to have control over Tamara, Call, and Aaron. I mean, I guess that kind of makes sense, but they’re people too! You have all these adult, mature, experienced mages, and you want these three teenagers just because they defeated the Enemy of Death. Ok, well yeah, that IS an amazing feat, at least from the way the facts were presented. But I mean... why? This is like the case of many young adult, fantasy novels. So many. The young people always get “chosen” and have all the bad stuff happen to them.

I DO really like the story line of this series in its entirety. I mean, usually they’re set to defeat the all powerful, evil enemy. But this time Call IS the enemy. I’m really curious as to how this will play out.

I’m also really curious who Callum will end up with, if anyone at all. If it’s Celia I’m going to be upset.

ANASTASIA IS GOING TO BE EVIL. I just know it. Foreshadowing! She randomly told Call that Makars are killed in Europe! Who does that? She’s going to be evil. Or at least against them. I mean, it’s a little confusing. If Call’s evil, but he isn’t really evil, are the people against him evil, or not evil? >< I guess they’re evil in their own sense.

Anyways, I didn’t have much time to read, therefore I didn’t read much, hence I don’t have much to say...
