I love working in the library (Part ?? of ??)
I just helped a patron put a hold on the eBook version of American Gods by Neil Gaiman. She was very friendly and nice, and said that she'd read part of the book a few months ago and the beautiful imagery had stuck in her head, but she'd been on hold for the print version for a while. I said he was a pretty well-known author, and she replied that she hadn't really heard of him much before, but she loves his style. I gave her a couple other titles by him, and told her he also has a tumblr. She was SO excited and said that she'd start following him as soon as she got home!
Yay Tumblr and yay bonding over authors and yay helping patrons. Hope I see you again, Sarah!
Today is All Hallow's Read, and I've made a couple videos to celebrate! (Am I getting carried away with vlogging? I hope not!)
