The legacy of "Dorando Ferrari" is celebrated in Colleferro through an exhibition that serves as a testament to his restless and fertile voice. Running from 28th November, "12 Works for 12 Months" showcases 12 sculptures in iron and vibrant colours, offering a contemporary perspective on the 20th-century artist's oeuvre.
This volume provides a comprehensive exploration of the life and oeuvre of Dorando Ferrari, a twentieth-century artist. The exhibition "12 Works for 12 Months" in Colleferro celebrates the city's 90th anniversary and restores the voice of an artist who transformed iron and colour into a universal language. The restless energy of Dorando Ferrari, born in 1908, transformed industrial materials and pictorial languages into testimonies of collective memory. A painter and sculptor, winner of international awards and interpreter of the 20th century, Ferrari's work is held in high regard. His works, ranging from cubism to surrealism and metaphysics, recount the tension of a century and the resilience of a community.
This exhibition is both a celebration of art and an opportunity to consider its function as a record of identity and the future. Paintings and iron sculptures convey the essence of the 20th century through the perspective of a talented, pioneering artist.

“La jungle di Marco Fratarcangeli: quando la natura non si lascia addomesticare.” A la sesta edizione de "La Via Dell'Arte - Colleferro"
Nel cuore della mostra "La Via Dell’Arte, in corso a Colleferro" fino al 20 luglio, svetta su una parete bianca il dipinto centrale di Marco Fratarcangeli — una dichiarazione visiva - che firma un dipinto che si configura come campo pittorico diretto e denso, dove l’architettura visiva si sviluppa per opposizioni, e la narrazione non è didascalica, ma spinta dalla tensione interna fra materia, colore e presenza.
La composizione, densa di contrasti e spontaneità, ci trasporta in una giungla immaginaria, dove il linguaggio pittorico si fa selvatico. I colori saturi, dall’arancio crepuscolare del cielo al verde vivido della vegetazione, danzano attorno a un’imponente montagna blu, che sorveglia la scena da lontano. Gli alberi laterali non si limitano a incorniciare, ma sembrano voler - abbracciare - lo spettatore, coinvolgerlo, quasi trattenerlo in questo ecosistema espressivo.
Le pennellate sono decise, intuitive quasi ribelli: Fratarcangeli non descrive, trascina. L’opera è tensione, stratificazione, voce senza filtro.. Non è paesaggio, è tensione tra forza e quiete, tra natura e gesto. Il tramonto, più che un momento del giorno, diventa un tempo interiore. Ogni colore è un’emozione, ogni forma una pulsione.
Quella di "Marco Fratarcangeli" non è una natura da contemplare, ma da attraversare. Una giungla che non offre sentieri. È un invito a lasciarsi disorientare, a non trovare risposte ma ad accettare la densità dei colori come il peso delle emozioni. Ed è forse lì che l’ autore incontra sé stesso.

📍 Impulso: La sensazione immediata è di mistero e curiosità. L'effetto visivo delle ali arrugginite del corvo che incorniciano la scena notturna invita l'osservatore a guardare oltre, scoprendo una strada illuminata che sembra essere piena di storie nascoste e possibilità. “C'era una volta un piccolo paese chiamato Segni, dove gli abitanti vivevano le loro vite in un tranquillo susseguirsi di giornate. Tra di loro, un artista di nome Nicola Fagnani passava ore a forgiare il metallo, trasformandolo in sculture che riflettevano le sue visioni e i suoi sogni. Un giorno, ispirato dalla leggenda del corvo che attraversa i regni del giorno e della notte, Nicola creò una scultura inedita: un corvo dalle ali possenti, che sembrava pronto a spiccare il volo in qualsiasi momento.
La scultura fu esposta nel centro cittadino durante la mostra "Tentativi di Volo" organizzazta da La Via Dell'Arte a Colleferro e divenne immediatamente un'attrazione. La gente si fermava a guardare attraverso le ali del corvo, sorprendendosi di come il mondo apparisse diverso da quella prospettiva. Alcuni vedevano speranza nelle luci scintillanti delle strade, altri trovavano pace nella quiete della notte ritratta.
Un giovane ragazzo di nome Luca, curioso e pieno di immaginazione, passava ogni giorno davanti alla scultura. Un pomeriggio, mentre osservava attraverso le ali, incontrò l'artista Nicola. "Perché hai scelto un corvo?", chiese Luca. Nicola sorrise e rispose: "Il corvo rappresenta la possibilità di vedere oltre l'oscurità, di trovare la bellezza e la luce anche nei momenti più bui."
Quella sera, Luca tornò a casa con una nuova consapevolezza. Cominciò a vedere il mondo con occhi diversi, cercando sempre la bellezza nascosta nelle piccole cose. L'arte di Nicola non solo aveva caratterizzato le strade di Colleferro, ma aveva anche acceso una luce nel cuore di chiunque si fermasse a guardare”.

"Nicola Fagnani's iron sculptures are a journey into mystery and wonder. The crow's rustic wings create a visual effect that draws the viewer in, suggesting a hidden world with stories to discover. Fagnani's sculpture of a raven with mighty wings, displayed in the town of Colleferro during an exhibition, captured the attention of many. People saw the world differently through the sculpture's wings, finding hope in the shining lights of the streets and peace in the calmness of the night. Luke, a curious young boy, frequently passed by the sculpture, and one day, while looking through the wings, he met Fagnani. Luke asked why Fagnani chose a raven, to which the artist replied that it symbolized the ability to find beauty and light even in the darkest moments. Luke was captivated by the answer, and his eyes were opened to the world's hidden beauty. Fagnani's art transformed the streets of Colleferro, touching the hearts of those who stopped to appreciate it."
The works were on display from December 4 to December 8, 2024, as part of the solo exhibition "Attempts at Flight (Tentativi di Volo)" hosted by La Via Dell'Arte - Colleferro.

In Velletri, Rome, the 2023 grape harvest signifies the start of tours to the Arsial experimental vineyards.
This year's grape harvest in Velletri, located in the province of Rome, is expected to be among the finest in recent memory. The warm and dry weather conditions have been favorable, benefiting the ripening of the grapes and preventing diseases. The winemakers meticulously executed every cultivation phase, from pruning to harvesting, while adhering to the timing and methods mandated by production regulations. This has resulted in an exceptional wine that exemplifies the unique qualities of the region. This brief post outlines the primary features of the wines available for tasting and purchase at their wine shop and wineries.
The wines from Velletri are renowned for their exceptional quality and diversity, which stems from an age-old tradition and biodiversity-rich terrain. Cesanese, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Bellone, and Malvasia Puntinata are some of the popular grape varieties. These wines stand out for their deep ruby hues, fragrant and fruity aromas, and well-balanced and lasting taste, while the whites boast a well-balanced flavor.
During the 2023 harvest, Arsial is providing the chance to tour their experimental vineyards located within the Velletri Demonstration Farm. Visits are available every weekday.
It's currently harvest time, and Arsial's Experimental Demonstration Company in Velletri, located at Via Cantina Sperimentale 1/a, is initiating the grape harvest with the resistant Sauvignon Rytos b grape variety.
As part of its demonstration efforts, Arsial provides winegrowers in the region and those who request it the chance to visit the experimental vineyards in Velletri, as long as reception limits are not exceeded.

Grazie alle condizioni climatiche favorevoli ha beneficiato di un clima caldo e asciutto, che ha favorito la maturazione delle uve e la prevenzione delle malattie. I viticoltori hanno seguito con attenzione tutte le fasi della coltivazione, dalla potatura alla vendemmia, rispettando i tempi e le modalità previste dal disciplinare di produzione.
