Favourite thing about them: Good is Not Nice. Good is snobby and calculating and rude and has regrets about her past but won’t admit it for the world.

Least favourite thing about them: People who write her like she’s a #feminist #girlboss. There’s an element of White Feminism that can creep into it if writers aren’t careful, and that’s the most boring aspect of the character.

Favourite line: “And yes, I am a massive snob, and there was no need for you all to think it at once.” It’s not one of my favourite serious moments about the character, but it is an endearing moment.

brOTP: Emma & Kitty!! One of the few things I’ve actually appreciated about Dawn of X.

OTP: Scott/Emma! I’m also a sucker for Sean/Emma, but that’s more low-key.

Random headcanon: She was a literature nerd in high school. Even if her grades weren’t that good, she loved reading the classics. I imagine she was a big Shakespeare fan (especially Macbeth and King Lear) and she probably read her share of Machiavelli.

Unpopular opinion: ??? I’m sure there are plenty of topics I’d be perfectly happy to get into arguments about, but I can’t think of one at the moment.

The true angsty pairing!

Who is more likely to get injured doing small tasks? Padme, and then Anakin frets over her, and she has to shoo him away so that she can get her work done.

Who worries more about the other? Anakin does have a habit of becoming singly focused on protecting/saving her whenever he finds out she’s in danger. Padme worries more about Anakin’s emotional well-being.

Who is more afraid about the other leaving them? Anakin is incredibly worried about this, both in the sense that she’ll die and in the sense that she’ll choose someone or something over him.

Who is more likely to leave (for any reason)? Padme. In canon, we know that there are things more important to her than Anakin, such as doing the right thing and ensuring the safety of the galaxy, but nothing is more important to him than their relationship. He’d never leave her.

Who is more likely to drunkenly confess? Padme. She gets romantic and idealistic when drunk.

Who is more likely to push the other away (for any reason)? Anakin

Who picks fights more often? Anakin, he’ll be grumpy about something else and bring his bad mood home.

Who usually apologizes first? Anakin, especially if he started it.

Who is more likely to withhold their feelings for the other? They’re both bad at this; they tried it and it didn’t last very long. Anakin did make the move, though, so I guess Padme wins this one.

Who is more likely to lash out at the other? Anakin, obviously. Although Padme doesn’t take kindly to being condescended to or told what to do, and she will let him know it.

Who gets more jealous? ANAKIN.

Who is more likely to support the other in a relationship with someone else “as long as they’re happy”? Neither. There’s something fundamentally very selfish about their love. Obviously, they want the other to be happy, but they also both definitely want the other to be theirs.
