She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw
Euphoria on the streets
In her hands just as raw
Everything was always there not behind
The background was only there
Because he was kind

I am not waiting for you to get me a string quartet with blue instruments and a living room full of red roses. I am simply waiting for your soul to meet mine once again after the couple of days I've been dying/waiting.
Calvin
I can’t believe I’m actually writing about him. He’s the guy of my dreams before I ever knew what I’d describe the guy of my dreams. I love his name; Calvin. To me, it’s the sound of bells ringing and daisy petals travelling with the wind. He sets everything right like the perfect house I’ve always thought of living in.
I met him before I turned eighteen and after moving-on from the most incompatible guy for me. Not that I believe compatibility is needed in a relationship. Sometimes all you need is the perfect song to play and the perfect moment. Perfection, it’s not even real, yet we have these imaginary measurements which are usually unreachable. Perfection, when it comes to my book, is something you’ll feel the very moment you discover it.
My favorite memory with him would be that time we sat on a temporary horizon. There were plants and trees everywhere. We sat in the middle. It was nighttime. The lack of stars didn’t matter. All we needed was the moon, eyes, music and each other. We said ‘I love you’ simultaneously as miniature tears formed my eyelids. Shivering, I asked him, ‘would you leave me, ever?’ he made a sound that gave me a hint that he was smiling, then he assured me that he wouldn’t. I bit my lip and smiled as cherished the moment.
This guy, Calvin, he’s like a bookcase, like the sea and like a pair of reading glasses. He holds the stories that I will get to tell my grandchildren. He overflows as he goes with the flow in this cruel world; bravely. He sees me clearly, than anyone in the world--he knows me better than myself. No magic can open my mouth with more awe.
I don’t like lying, so when I do lie, I give out clues of what I’m hiding. This habit destroyed me more than it should.
