Quiet Traditions and Pink Outfits: A Look Inside the Anderson Easter
While many families took to social media this Easter with carefully staged snapshots and reels, the Andersons chose something quieter — and far more enduring.
Meredith (@merofmanycolors) offered a rare glimpse into her family’s traditions through a thoughtful post on her personal Tumblr.
“In my family, Easter starts before the sun is up. Church pews. Coffee in paper cups. My sisters pretending not to care about the egg hunt, even though we all know they do,” she wrote. “We gather. We eat. We laugh. We fall into rhythms so old, they feel like muscle memory. And then the house fills. People arrive — some we see every week, some only once a year. There are games. Loud voices. Someone spills something. Someone always does.”
There were no accompanying photos, but her words painted a vivid portrait — one of early mornings, warm laughter, and an unchanging sense of togetherness.
In a private conversation, Christina (@christinaandoscar) confirmed she spent the holiday at home as well.
“I’ll be home for Easter! I’m home now,” she shared. “We tend to do an egg hunt for Sadie, and the family goes to church.”
Christina may have stayed off the grid publicly, but behind the scenes, she sent along some cheerful photos of herself dressed in a soft pink Easter outfit — a subtle nod to the holiday’s joy and tradition.
Together, the Andersons celebrated the way they always have: surrounded by family, steeped in ritual, and blissfully off-camera — proving once again that not every beautiful moment needs to be broadcast.
A First Love’s Search for Their Daughter: Reuniting After A Lifetime?
Christina, in a heartfelt public letter, revealed she has found the daughter she and her first love, “B,” placed for adoption nearly a decade ago. Their journey started in a small college town in Ohio, where they were two young souls navigating love and life’s challenges. After a surprising pregnancy test, they made the heart-wrenching decision to place their daughter, Ebony-Mae Edwards, with a family who could offer her more than they could at the time.
Now, years later, Christina has tracked down Ebony-Mae, living in France with a loving family. In her letter, she invites B to meet their daughter for the first time.
As Christina’s story spreads, one question lingers: Will B choose to reconnect, or leave the past in the past? To read the full letter and follow Christina’s journey, visit her page @christinaandoscar
The Andersons in Mt. Kisco
My mother loved Begin the Beguine. I knew it not only from her crooning but also from a Fred & Ginger movie. For some reason, until today’s email from Will and Peter, I didn’t connect it to Cole Porter. The knowledgeable and very talented Anderson Twins are “doing” Cole Porter at Jazz on Main this Saturday, the 23rd, at 7pm. Visit PeterAndWillAnderson.com for more about this dynamic pair. Go…
