musegaarid replied to your post “Are you supposed to say Lea like "lee" or "lee-uh"?”
Just to support the "lee" pronunciation... I live in Roswell, New Mexico, which was once owned by a Captain Joseph Calloway Lea. So everything is named after him and it's definitely pronounced "lee" here. The locals made fun of me when I arrived and said "lee-uh" (even though that's how it's spelled!)
I still get made fun of for pronouncing Goethe Street in Chicago with the German pronunciation rather then “Go-eh-th.” :D Thanks though, that’s good to know!

You still gave her pats tho right?
Of course! I’m not a monster :D Anyway that’s her “pet my belly” posture more or less -- she doesn’t like being stroked on her back, but if she’s on her side with her head turned she usually wants belly rubs. She’s just not usually quite so weird looking about it.

I got mine yesterday! It's one of the larger ones I have, which is nice since it covers more face. I only tried it on for a minute but I have hopes that the ear loops will not make me look like Dumbo - which would be So Frickin Nice for a change. Even my mom laughed at how most masks make my ears stick out. :/
Oh sweet! Yeah, some of the ones I’ve made make my ears stick out a little too, though I find that if you hook your finger under the elastic, run it all the way around your ear and down to your chin, it sometimes helps “Settle” it. Also, google “ear saver” for cheap hooks that can pull the elastic away from your ears!
I’m working on a new design now for R, which involves using a piece of leather or thick yarn looped through the masks and secured with a toggle instead, because R has the same issue with his big giant head :D

it would just be so salty
Well, I know that sometime in the last 25 years there was a change in how beef broth was formulated that means it’s much saltier but more shelf-stable and stronger flavored now, so it’s possible that it wouldn’t have been THAT salty -- but I don’t think it can ever have been good.
