I had the great privilege of drawing @pickelda‘s Thea Lavellan over the last couple days. I had so sooo much fun getting all the details just right!

Lovely sweet character belonging to the crazily talented @pickelda and my half of an art trade. Such lovely autumn colours, and choosing just one of the outfits has been the best kind of difficult decision eheheheh.

day six - reunion featuring @pickelda's thea lavellan and cullen!
She is Inquisitor at the gates, Thea when she shuts the door behind him.
Weary of eyes upon him, Cullen finds hers don't weather him as others do. There isn't a glimpse of the demons he faced in Kinloch Hold in them, the only questions she asks take nothing to answer. Yes, tea would be nice. No, the fire's perfect.
He catches her hand when she sets the cup on the table beside him, nursing his lips against her knuckles.
"Don't stray too far," he asks her, and so she settles in his lap, laughing like she told a joke.

I had just started to get to know pickledfig when she asked me to do this double portrait. I was so excited for it--her writing is beautiful, and I was already in love with Inquisitor Thea Lavellan! When Fig asked me to incorporate Peruvian colors and embroidery and patterns in their clothes, I was over the moon.

One year progression. Further expansion of the mark up the forearm. Expansion of Anchor core. Of note—Anchor core not expanding from initial root tear. New tears appear elsewhere within the mark. Monitoring growth. Most concerning is the Anchor's reaction to newly acquired body vallaslin. Mark pattern is present in the ink. A reaction between the orb's power and Elvhen magic? Blood? Inquisitor reported intense discomfort during application. [I] was not present. Mark on forearm has not grown to connect with vallaslin, but the Anchor's resonance has increased significantly. I can sense her the orb's power from a disconcerting distance.
