My birthday. I love that we all have a day that's ours and we can just celebrate and say "Look at me, I'm awesome!" I honestly believe that employers should give you your birthday off in addition to the other holidays that they give you.

2. What’s one of your favorite childhood memories?

Playing in the leaves in fall. My dad and I would rake them up(well, he probably did most of the raking) and then I'd get to just bury myself in them for hours. The sound of crunching leaves never fails to bring back that feeling and I will go out of my way in fall to step on fallen leaves.

3. Favorite movie?

A Knight's Tale. I can pretty much quote it from memory. (I couldn't watch it for a year after Heath died.)

4. Favorite color?

Jeweltones. Sapphire blue, emerald green, amethyst purple, garnet red, that kind of thing. My actual favorite color depends on my mood. I've been in a purple groove recently.

5. What is your favorite CD?

Grammy Award winning Jars of Clay, "If I Left the Zoo." My love for that album cannot be quantified.

6. If you could get on a plane and go anywhere right now, where would you go?

New York City. It's been far too long since I've been. FAR, FAR too long.

7. Favorite thing to do to relax?

Watch comfort TV, Firefly or HIMYM usually because I can put them in and I know the eps so well that I don't even really need to pay attention.

8. Favorite drink?

Coffee. Not kidding. Has been for a long time and Castle is not helping that obsession one bit.

I am way too ADD for this answer because there's different things about different fics that appeal to me. And I am TERRIBLE at remembering to favorite fics on FF and am constantly finding myself going, "Ok, so there was there one fic where..." So, here, have a list of ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Anything with ferrets: Waiting Game by muppet47, Silent Night, Ferret Night and A Business of Ferrets by Polly Lynn. (And then Material Witness by extension. And I am ALWAYS willing to admit that this one is my fault.)

A ridiculous amount of chezchuckle's fics but I'll limit myself to the entire Dash series and Advent. (I read Advent in summer and CRIED so no one can try to tell me it's exclusively a Christmas fic.)

Polly Lynn's TARDIS-verse. All of it.

airbefore: a story's a story, no matter how small, because I love the fun little twists and turn that her mind takes. there your heart will be also, that she co-authored with sparklemouse. (I cried SO HARD at that fic. Ugh.) Anything M-rated. (She writes hoooooooot sexytimes.)

Our Serendipitous Paths by ColieMacKenzie. This was one of the first fics that I read in this fandom and I LOVE IT. I hate that it's not updated but I know people have lives.

Busted by shimmeryshine. The Coffee Guy is my favorite chapter. Also, this fic is pretty much my headcanon for how a lot of them found out. Even though there's actual canon for some of it now.

1. What is your favorite episode of Castle? There are so, so many that are like tied for the number one spot. Tick, Tick, Tick, Boom, Cops and Robbers, Kill Shot, Always, After the Storm, and After Hours to name just a few.

2. What character do you identify most with on Castle? It's a combination of Castle and Beckett. Like Castle, I didn't have a strong father figure growing up, I can be melodramatic, and I love to write. Like Beckett, I keep my guard up and I've got walls around my heart because I've been hurt before. I'm trying to open up more, but it's slow going sometimes.

6. When did you start watching Castle? I started watching regularly at the beginning of Season 4, though I had seen a few Season 3 episodes before then.

9. Favorite scene of Castle? I've got four: the Kate/Lanie scene from Probable Cause, the hug scene in After Hours, the "I just want you" scene in Always, and the morning after scene in After the Storm.

10. Most underrated character? Perlmutter, aka Perfmutter

11. Most underrated episode? Not sure how "underrated" it is, but Wrapped Up in Death

13. Best song from Castle? I Just Want You and all of its reprises *shakes fist at Robert Duncan*

14. What has Castle inspired you to do? Castle and the Nikki Heat series have inspired me to write my own crime novel.
