Hmm... let see what I can come up with.

Accurate: 

Like you said, there is a “gay” way to look, even if it’s just a tiny well-hidden “gay vibe” lmao.

Lesbians are unapologetic and labeled “problematic” by others, especially in activist circles. Guess it’s a deal that comes with the way we are treated as subhuman due our sexuality, you either forge a strong personality or you sink.

Lesbians gather in small closed groups that you get to meet through... other lesbians. I’ve always thought this was funny because it’s so true (and a pain in the ass at times).

 Inaccurate:

Lesbians are predatory (like men), drama queens and always desperate to jump in a relationship. Literally every lesbian I’ve met in my life has been, to some extent, a shy awkward mess LOL. And also pretty chill. Drama doesn’t last and is usually talked over because we’re all too tired to deal with it in an overly dramatical way anyway. And for what I’ve witnessed, relationships just happen and develop with time (hence why many lesbian couples stick together for a couple of years unlike most hetero couples that meet in order to get in a relationship and break up after 3 months). 

Gay people try to unconsciously imitate heterosexuality. Get off your high horses, no one gives a fuck about your unhealthy power dynamics, bad sex and Disney movies you force yourselves to watch through and pretend you enjoy.

Lesbians are childish rebellious girls going through a phase because they haven’t met “the right man” yet, or the stereotype that gay people are gross sex-driven fetishists that only care about “parts” and not “hearts”. No po’ weón, no soy bisexual, soy lesbiana. Si bien me gustan las mujeres porque son hermosas, inteligentes, chistosas y únicas, también me gusta el choricuaco, y? Peléala.

It’s always hard to answer to this because I fear sounding either insecure or too self-absorbed, but here I go (In no particular order):

Most of the time I’m assertive, or at least assertive enough for people to respect and even fear me, while also being cautious. I know my worth and I have no problem expressing my thoughts (bordering on boldness at times…) but I won’t expose myself to risk or meaningless confrontations unless I deem it necessary. Should I had lacked this skill earlier on my life I would be dead by now, so it’s something I’m both proud and grateful for.

I’m brave and strong as in I don’t let my fears stop me from accomplishing things and while this definitely doesn’t make them go away (and in fact brings a big mental backlash instead), it’s enough to get by. I avoid it as much as I can but if I’m -or someone whom I care for is- in danger I don’t hesitate to risk my life either.
