so like yeaaaars ago *and thank god i never posted this fic anywhere it was crap*i remember writing degrassi fic on the-n.com which is v specific and i remember having a character named sarah elizabeth. (first and middle name)
now don't ask me what she was to the plot bc i kinda forget or whatever that memory literally was suddenly unlocked via tik tok when i saw a username on there and im just like wow i've been a fan for too long.
i remember asking a then friend on like aim like, "whats a good name for a random character?" and deadass they replied with sarah elizabeth.
You know what I miss? The-N. Some of y’all might be too young to know what that is, but let me tell you, it was the best thing that ever happened to my preteen self. I remember I couldn’t WAIT to see the Noggin sign off and get all excited when The-N was starting. The-N was a TV channel that had amazing shows like South of Nowhere (I shipped my first gay ship♥️), Beyond the Break, Instant Star, O’Grady, Radio Free Roscoe, Daria, oh and was the first place I ever watched Degrassi! Not only did they have the best TV shows but they had a killer website too. It was the first place I ever chatted online! They had message boards and istg I would sit on there all day during summer and talk about my favorite TV shows. The avatar customization was so much fun. They also had fun games like Slasher!, Avatar High, The Hookup. Then they rebranded everything to TeenNick. Don’t get me wrong, I love shows like iCarly too but TeenNick is nothing compared to The-N.
I seriously miss those days. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
