(Hollowpox spoilers later on in this post so if you haven’t read it, you may want to avoid reading this)

Book 1 - Chapter 25 - “Master and Apprentice” - ‘’Miss Crow. You look like a person who’s figured something out.‘ Morrigan said nothing. ‘Go on,’ he prompted, his voice barely a whisper. ‘Show me how clever you are.‘’

How did Ezra know that she’d figured out he’s not Mr Jones after all? The Gossamer Line only makes you visible if you want people to see you. If he didn’t want Morrigan to see him, she wouldn’t.

In book 3 after Morrigan was attacked by the bearwun, she hears a voice telling her to get up. She tells it to go away, it says ‘suit yourself’, then footsteps go into the distance and nobody’s there. Most people, seeing a girl on the floor with a massive scratch down her leg would be concerned. So why wasn’t the voice? She said she thought it might’ve just been in her head, but then why the footsteps? Was that Ezra on the gossamer? He wouldn’t be shocked by the situation, he created the Hollowpox after all.
