Carol arrives, destroys the fleet, and takes the gauntlet as Thanos’s army advances.
“I don’t know how you’re gonna get it through all that,” Peter tells her.
As they stand before the oncoming forces, one final portal begins to open behind the pair. A figure slowly emerges, unrecognizable at first- until the light illuminates her flaming red hair.
“Don’t worry,” Natasha says with a wink. “She’s got help.”
She whistles, and Yelena Belova steps up behind her, leading all of the free Widows.
From all over the battlefield, the female superheroes come together. Peter looks on in awe as Carol nods at Natasha.
The female Avengers meet Thanos and his army as one, led by the hero who has always paved their way- the Black Widow.
can we talk about the fact that we didn't have to see the female characters in unnecessary revealing costumes or lacking stunts because a female director was at the head of this film. I went into the film so content at the fact that she was directing a movie with badass women which would contain badass stunts and credit to what women could do, and I wasn't disappointed.
Like when they were running to the motorcycle in Budapest, their hair was up. It was ideal and all for what would work in reality for them. I absolutely loved how she did it.
