you Its pretty impossible to have your relationship taken seriously if you’ve never met irl

you find out that you crave their touch but you cant get it for weeks/months/years at a time

the anxiety that its all fake

when you figure out you’re in love with them

date night is always YouTube and Netflix

plane tickets are expensive

sending packages is expensive too

sometimes u wanna do something really cute and nice but you cant because they're sometimes in a whole different country

its hard to celebrate each others successes 

you fantasize about really domestic things like going to McDonald's together

time zones are harder to manage than you think and one of you is going to loose sleep 

its a little harder to get over holidays that are usually celebrated with your SO

its hard to explain why you need to have your phone and an internet connection on a regular basis

you’re gonna question your relationship a lot more than if you’re in one with someone you can see in person every day

when someone else irl makes a romantic/sexual advance and you panic because you don’t know how to explain your situation

you worry about whats gonna happen when you see each other in person
