#the second ofa

This work is a comic/dojinshi originally prepared for the Event “One For All October”, which was arranged by the esteemed @aimportantdragoncollector(Katydid) and @mcfanely. But by the deadline the story of 10 pages suddenly grew several times bigger, so only the storyboard and two pages of the final result were ready. So I made the decision that I would publish this comic out of the contest when it was 100% ready. What's more, on final check, I realized that there were a few more pages missing to cover the white spots of the story. So the comic was left for revision and final proofreading. I'll be honest, for me at this point, this is the biggest graphic work I've ever worked on. In all these few months I have felt like I have been able to grow in my skills. And I'm really happy about that, even though I'm a little tired. But it's a pleasant weariness with a sense of accomplishment and a slight understatement.

And now I want to express my sincere gratitude to you, Katydid and McFanely, for creating this Event, inspiring and allowing this work to be born. If it weren't for you, I most likely would never have ventured into such a voluminous graphic project.

So. Over the next few weeks, I will be posting this story. Let's go!

OK OK LISTEN-

I bet you all have read or at least know what happened to our Bakuboy in this new chapter and I know we are all clinching to the idea that he is not permanently dead.

Now, remember how The Second looks fucking similar to our dead boy?

...What if-

Imagine Izuku runs to the battlefield and sees Kacchan lying there, eyes opened and so lifeless and he is screaming, he is begging for Kacchan to open his eyes please don't do this to him-

Imagine Aizawa stares and stares, hopelessly wishing for this to be just some nightmare from an awful quirk because Bakugou still has to be number 1. He is just a kid.

Imagine the rest of class 1A watch from afar and oh, they lose Bakugou again. They losr him again-

Now, this is where things get worse and I'm not going to be sorry. You guys have your warning.

What if, Bakugou magically opens his eyes and starts standing up in front of everyone like he has not just died. He looks at Izuku with a slightly guilty face. Then he turns to Shigaraki and AFO feels that urge of terror again-

Izuku swallows harshly. There is something wrong-

The boy whispers, brokenly, with his heart leaping to his throat. "Kacchan...?"

Then 'Bakugou' opens his mouth.

From those bloody lips, came the voice of The Second.

"I'm sorry that I'm not the one you are looking for, Izuku."

"He is gone."
