similar ROUND face shapes, same hair color (chell's hair isn't black it's fucking brown.), chell has blue eyes/cave has blue eyes/caroline has brown, caroline's face is more stretched out over her skull while chell's eyes/nose/mouth are closer and more compact (as you get older, usually your face will like. kind of spread out so it could be a combination of a different face arrangement and chell being younger than caroline), chells nose looks a little more rounded than carolines but other than that, nothing would fucking stop me from believing these two people are related somehow if i saw them in public. full stop.

2. in the very least, chell is a child. she's a child. she was a child when she was frozen, in cryostasis, as evidenced in the whole bring your daughter to work day section in portal 2. children can be extremely smart! we fucking know this! but in any case, she would not have the emotional intelligence to think like an adult (i feel like any adult can be emotionally immature anyways, so me trying to describe why i think her behavior, while brilliant, is still somewhat childish and also. its a fucking game man, idk) so in any case since it's kind of implied chell was a child when frozen and people mature by experiencing life itself for a number of years rather than being alive for a number of years, i think thats weird regardless

3. you literally could have just said "caroline and glados are confirmed different people entirely." like literally glados is caroline but caroline is NOT glados. thats how it works. you guys make yourselves look so fucking sus bending over backwards trying to say children have to look exactly like their parents to be children of those parents. just stop. stop.
