There were hardly any warehouse workers today, which was strange. In the break room, Vic and Mike were in there, a spread of papers on the table. However, Vic was fishing in a cabinet for his lunch box, as though he was already going to eat it this early on in the day. To be fair, he did usually work late.

“Oh, Hermes! Buongiorno, amico. Have a good morning?”

*He left Marty…he felt bad but he left his wallet and his keys so if he stayed at the bar too long Marty would have a way to work and to pay for whatever he needed.* “You always have to get away.” *He popped his hood up as he stepped into the old bar close to his place*

*It was crowded. Being late in the night, almost early morning, it was filled with mostly alcoholics and people who were supposed to be home.*

“Take any seat that’s empty!”

*The bartender yelled out. Most of the booths were overflowing, and the only space was the bar itself and its stools.*

it’s not really about them not liking ragnarok, had it been that i don’t think anyone would be too pressed about it. like i dislike a lot of the movies and shows tumblr at large nuts over. it’s not about not being happy about some aspect of a movie and moving on with your life, oh no. 

it’s the fact that for the past two years they have been making up shit and launching some bizzarre ‘smear campaign’ against taika waititi (they also hate chris hemsworth but that part has been going on since 2011 fhweufhueir i still get flashbacks to those elaborate posts trying to prove that his wife cheats on him); we’ve seen racial slurs and just general racist ass ‘discourse’ how taika’s jealous of tom hiddleston’s superior intellect (lmao), them making a miriad of posts on how they wish taika would meet real loki and ‘cower in fear’, how taika must have self hatred as a man of colour, which is why he ‘disrespected loki like that’, how he (a maori jewish man) ‘does not understand colonialism’, a mile long post how taika’s mentally ill, armchair diagnosing him with various disorders ‘that have lead him to make thor ragnarok’, long ass posts how chris hemsworth and taika waititi are just so jealous of loki’s success and how they bullied tom hiddleston (it’s me!! i’m the only tom hiddleston bully around here! taika flew me to oz especially for that).

“W-Wha-”

He stumbled with the sudden presence of what felt like a baby. He panicked, afraid he’d drop it.

“A-Aspetta! F-Fresh?…”

"Ah! Bella signora. How are you, Miss Sophia? Long night?"

Vic carried a very heavy box of shotguns in his arms. The other men would have given that to the forklifts, but not Vic.

"...Hey kid."

Avoiding Vic was the hardest part, she loved Vic. But this was for everyone! Even the idiots who tried to scare her.

So she hurried to the break room, placing the tray on the table and writing a quick note

‘Just one for now!’

And she had an Apple she’d snagged just for Marty. A sweet autumn crisp. She’d never seen an Apple so large before! She wanted to make sure he got it, so she went looking.

Sophia had schemed it well. None of the men had seen her set up this little treat board.

Perhaps he’d be embarrassed to admit it, but Marty was the first to discover the area. He’d finished going through a whole host of receipts for shipments and wanted to take a break to rest his eyes from staring at the tiny font. He stretched his arms above his head, giving a nice crack to his back, before meandering into the breakroom.

He froze for a moment, seeing the sudden difference of scenery. He came closer to read the note, and looked off at the apple. He blushed a deep red, realizing that he was the only one in the warehouse that had mentioned being on a health kick… Though the temptation of a cookie was luring.

“O-Oh gosh…”
