i know there's no point in 'fixing people' and i need to let go of this toxic thing where i see potential in people and want to 'fix them' re: they will feel my love and their commitment issues will be gone (are they even issues if you are that comfortable with them?) BUT

I really wish life would just turn out such that it would let me fix like one person once and I will realise that i was hanging onto some false hope in that even the fixed person is not interesting. the only interesting thing was their image that i had made in my head which was the goal, which was the challenge and it's gone now. and i will finally be like oh yeah okay i tried and it is not that great. i think i will be satisfied then.

BUT instead i have to fucking do therapy and get myself out of this on my own with just imagination and logic or something. why can't i just try it and be proven wrong and then it won't be interesting anymore???

okay I guess I am communicating more openly now which is probably gonna make this over quicker BUT the experiment won't be an experiment if i don't keep track of my feelings, don't be honest to myself, don't BE MYSELF and come face to face with feelings of discomfort at someone knowing me the real me and seeing me again

like i know i signed up for it, and i know i can stop any time but also i genuinely do like spending time with this person *when* it happens and they are available and attentive *when* they are. and i am getting more and more frustrated with the absences and the presence is seeming more of a pretence but also is it so bad if i know what's happening?

like i know i am expecting too much from a casual hanging out deal but i enjoy it and i know i am expecting too much. i am hoping the expectations and desires will slowly be eroded by the realities as it'll get harder to be delusional with time. and then only the fun part will remain.

i genuinely can begin to see through the actions like calling to cancel only when you can't get away with texting to cancel because it has happened like twice - this is like pushing the boundaries to see how far you can get BUT like does it really matter as long as i get laid and have a good time. who cares what stupid games he is playing to keep me around when i do want to be around

or should i get some self-respect and stand up and walk away? like i can do this with someone else who might be more like what i want - which btw i don't even know what i want.
