this Deanna and the Dawnfather scene is very sweet. the worry in Deanna's voice, the "I know I'm supposed to be mad, but—" and the possible implication that she may have regretted if that was the last thing that happened between them, the hug, the Dawnfather softly apologizing for being distant and Deanna telling him she gets it, Deanna offering her comfort and understanding parent-to-parent, her saying she's saying all these comforting out loud perhaps just to soothe herself (because the fact that he's going away for a while is clearly a lot for her too!), him admitting that it's a lot, her giving him advice, "thank you, for all of this, you did a really good job" "we're just trying to do our best, mistakes and all", the very tangled dynamics of them both being the parent and both being the child, Deanna admitting that she was cruel for asking him if he was worth saving because here now she admits that everyone is
really incredible arc for both Deanna and the Dawnfather, in the little and short time they had in this campaign
