why did undyne make the determinator bluish green? I thought someone with her level of energy would go for a much brighter color scheme
From a meta perspective- I wanted the mech to have a similar palette as the True Lab. In-universe- the mech was in progress throughout the DT experiments, and as things grew worse and worse... it took a toll on Undyne’s mental state. She just never bothered painting it after that.
For everyone looking for updates on the Undyne fight, here’s a youtube archive of the editing stream I did on twitch a few weeks back! It’s two hours of me editing footage together while answering questions and such. As always, a HUGE thanks to our amazing cast and crew! @electricsparks for animating, and @audiospawn (Papyrus), @rileylastname (Frisk), @cellochicita-va (Undyne), and @the-wintermelon (Chara). And to revie for also assisting in the intro sequence animation. We’re excited to get the full fight out soon.
