The Spine-Chilling Sound That Shook The Deep Ocean
Logically this was caused by the phenomena responsible for a lot of weird paranormal stuff.
THE BLOOP
Named after the Earth phenomenon, the bloop is the largest of Fantasia’s leviathans. Swimming in the warm open waters of equatorial oceans, bloops are docile filter feeders. They mate for life, singing deep bellowing calls to find a partner.

Dedicated to my aunt
The Great Maja, or "El Gran Majá," is a hypothetical marine creature inspired by the Bloop, a mysterious ultra-low-frequency underwater sound detected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997. The Bloop was initially thought to be consistent with noises generated by marine animals, leading to speculation about the existence of a massive, unknown sea creature.

Day 28: “Bloop” Creature
(I know it has been a long time, but I got a lot on my plate at the same time. So many WIPs, junior year of college, even more WIPs, etc. So why come back now? Just a random stroke of genius. I was stuck on this one for a while, considering how long it had been debunked that I didn't really know what to do. And I didn't just want to make another Atlantis story. Then it hit me to just use the Leviathans. I'll probably explain their whole deal in the Catalogue project which yes is still in the cards) Dear Finley, It’s about time you found this message from me. How long did it take for you to finally reach your new home? Do not worry, I have left plenty of messages behind. Things that I could not get to in my teachings before my passing. You will learn the ways of the palace soon enough. For my first message, I figured I should introduce you to who was probably the first face you saw coming in here. I call him Bloop. You see, something strange happened not too long ago. The humans picked up a strange sound on their machines. It was just an average ice quake, a normal occurrence. Yet it captured the imagination of humans for some inexplicable reason. They thought it sounded like an animal and so an animal they imagined. So much belief poured in that it formed into a creature. It was a sad thing however. No human could truly decide on what the creature should look like, so it was left as a spirit with no form. I felt pity for the poor thing. So I took it upon myself to craft him such a form. I gave him the body of a whale, the gaping maw of a basking shark, and the flippers of a seal. He barked and howled once I had finished in pure glee. Ever since, Bloop has stuck around in the palace. He could leave at any time, but I don’t think he really wants to. Here, he is free to exist as himself. Because of that, I appointed him as the palace’s first line of defense. He is always the first one to arrive on the scene when visitors appear in the realm, and the first to either greet them kindly or show them the exit. His size means he is very good at dealing with would be aggressors. Do not worry, I said goodbye to him. In fact, it was just before I started this letter. Do treat him well in the coming months, I do not know how long he will grieve. I do expect you and him to get along. You get along well with others. Oh and don’t forget to feed him his favorite food sometimes. He just loves krill and zooplankton. Well, I better get to finishing these other messages. Don’t consider this a goodbye just yet, who knows how many more of these I’ll write. See you soon, Finely -Swift
