“I just want a guy who will suck my cock when I ask,” Dean sighed, “Is that too much to ask for these days?” He’d just been broken up with, although he was taking it well to say the least. Never been one for lasting relationship, and so the ‘shock’ was more of an act than anything. It seemed not many people could keep up with his reckless lifestyle, although he’d never admit that’s how he lived. “Am I really just that unlovable? Fuck, aye.”

Keith huffed a little, walking away from the other and to the closest mirror. Fuck, it wasn’t pretty. He washed it, hissing at the pain, but it seemed to ground him a little. Eyes were tired as he looked at his reflection, and he rubbed his face some before returning to where Tommy was. “Tommy...” Keith breathed, “Look.. Just being bombarded like that when I walked in the door, after the day I had, was... It just got on my nerves a bit.” 

“I thought we made a promise not to lie to each other, Thomas,” Keith sighed, not one to use the boys full name. Their relationship was different than most, but Keith loved him and he couldn’t bare to see him like this. It was concern for his well-being, and that he’d done something to upset the younger man. “Please, tell me what’s wrong...”

It had been a night of partying, alcohol, sex and drugs; a usual Tuesday night. Dean lay down on his bed at approximately 10a.m. the next morning, having not slept in 36 hours and sighed heavily. His parents were in Paris, or somewhere in Europe, and it’d been non-stop partying since. The house was trashed, but the maid was due in at 10:30a.m. so Dean saw it fit to leave the door unlocked for her. He closed his eyes for a moment, the room had been spinning a little too fast, and passed out almost instantly. Regrettably, this meant when the door opened and there was a knock at his bedroom door, he didn’t hear it.

Tommy and Keith had been seeing each other for long enough now that Tommy had a toothbrush, clothes, and all he needed at Keith’s, so he saw it fit to get his love a suit. What else were you supposed to do for the one you adored? Besides, Keith had been invited to some formal, black-tie event for the law firms of the state. Being rather high up, it was important that he at least showed his face. He was in his bedroom when he heard Tommy come into the penthouse apartment, “Hey sweetie,” Keith walked out, smiling at his lover, “I’ve got a surprise for you, and I know it’s kind of short notice, but I have an event tonight that I have to go to. But...” He kissed Tommy on the cheek, “I want you to come with me, and so I got you a present, and it’s in my room.”

Vance had been shown a seat by the waiter at a small restaurant he enjoyed going to. She always seemed to sit him in the same part of the dining area, but he was blind, what did he know? He asked for water and to be read the specials for the day before ordering the soup of the day; minestrone. It felt like a bench table, stools to sit on and room to various plates to share with others. Maybe I should have a dinner party here sometime, he thought as someone sat near him, a different waitress speaking to the person, ‘It’s got a great view of the park here’ before she asked if they wanted water to start with. Vance couldn’t help but laugh, “Giving a blind person a seat with a view, that’s ironic,” He wasn’t necessarily speaking to the stranger, but he estimated their distance was close enough for the other to hear.

An eternity might be an exaggeration, but Keith felt as if he hadn’t seen Tommy in forever. In reality, it’d been only a week or so since their last date. His heart was pounding against his chest as he waited in the kitchen for the doorbell to ring. The penthouse apartment looked over the city, and as the sun was beginning to set, the orange glow filled the living room that connected to his kitchen. Keith took a deep breath, and if on cue, the doorbell rang.

Navy had always brought out Keith’s eyes, and the decision to go with a smart-casual dress shirt and pants was doing him well. Sleek, yet relaxed, Keith worked the final touches into fixing his hair and then nodded to himself. Keith headed to the elevator, arriving in the valet car park and taking the keys to his metallic black BMW 7 Series, with white leather interior.

Pulling up outside Tommy’s place was the most nerve-racking thing Keith had done in years. The excitement and anticipation was killing him. He got out, walking up to the front door and knocking, his breathing heavy as he waited. The sound of footsteps, and finally the door opening put a smile on Keith’s face. “You look absolutely incredible,” Was the first thing Keith managed, and then he chuckled, finding Tommy’s eyes, “I hope you don’t mind, but it is a little bit of a drive,” Gesturing to the car parked on the street
