You come back from Tennessee and smell like trees, and farms, grass.. all those sorts of rustic things that smell weird because even though Night Vale has trees and farms and grass they're not the same. 

The longer you stay to visit the more it fades away but I can tell when you're wearing clothes from your suitcase and not that you've washed because they smell less like cologne and more like that previously mentioned weird Tennessee smell. 

You smell like your cats, and dogs too, and I can tell when you've been cooking because your beard soaks the smell up and it lasts for a good hour or so. Then you start smelling like alcohol after awhile.
