I waited far too long to do something about my nails and the lady working on my toes kept laughing and patting me and asking if I was okay, because I kept flinching when she was trying to relieve me of their bad habit of becoming ingrown. I felt bad, because I think she really was worried she was hurting me, which she was, but I know every time I wait too long that what needs to be done will hurt and it will feel so much better whrn it's over, so I have to keep telling her it's fine and please continue. Nail day shouldn't be so rough an experience. I'm just still iffy about spending the money on myself, even though I know it's a necessity in order to not walk around in pain. That being said, getting my finger nails done is completely frivolous, but I need them to match my toes, soooo-- ("need" here being highly relative and probably strongly suspect). @wickedweavile34 was determined I'd make it all the way home without messing them up.
