This one is so fucking God Tier to me, add this to ANY other trope and it makes it a thousand percent better in my eyes

I prefer 10% hurt and 90% comfort, like the softest, sweetest, most tender comfort of your LIFE. Bonus points if we add in a protective aspect to it, where one character will raze the earth if it means the other one feels safe and happy after what they've endured

Four different sources I've just looked at corroborate that the app will likely continue to mostly function (if potentially with some slowness and issues depending on how back end stuff is affected) it just won't be downloadable and possibly non-updatable without workarounds

i agree, but i think maybe it says more about eddie's state of mind than about their relationship. like there are so many signs in this episode that eddie's distress about the chris situation has reached such a height that he's kinda got blinders on to anything else--he put a downpayment down probably as soon as he found the house because he is desperate to get to texas as soon as possible, and he doesn't care about his living situation so long as he can get there. like he's been forced into this incredibly frustrating limbo wrt his relationship with his son for the past x months (timelines...what are they really...) and now that he's (he believes) found a way out of it he is desperate to just GO. and i do wonder if in the back of his head eddie knows that buck in some shape or form, represents an obstacle to that goal.

I go into every single one of them thinking "oh, this'll be 3-5k, just a silly little fic" and not a single one of them has passed the test fml

But I can't help it, I just love them both so much 😭 And I relate to them both in different ways, or see myself in different aspects of their personalities, so it's so easy to understand their thought processes on certain things and sometimes you just wanna TALK about it who needs therapy when I could just purge my demons through prose, amiright?

I write what I write because it's something I want to read, and the best times are when I can reread it and actually enjoy it rather than spend the whole time critiquing it or realizing what I could've done better.
