just watched project hail mary for the third time and i simply adore this film it's so gorgeous

#also Grace only cries four times in the whole movie (i counted) and they are each at a major life or death style moment #with the exception of him crying after proving the taumeboa will kill astrophage but those tears are because he is unsure if Rocky will liv #to see they really did save Earth and Erid so i think it still classes as life or death #mostly counted because i felt like the “grace is always crying” thing felt weird since (in my memory and now opinion) he didn't really cry #that much #i am not dogging on the “Grace is emotional and cries a lot” thing tho i absolutely love it i think it's a beautiful headcanon and i suppor #project hail mary #ryland grace #phm #rocky the eridian #wormking decree

it's a false holy war, all to avoid facing consequences of the epstien files after midterms, he's also doing it to try and stop midterms because of ukraine(a totally different country) not having their election due to Russias invasion. midterms don't stop because of war, hell they continued under bush's war after all.

Well yeah. I feel it's also worth mentioning that I think organized Christianity in the west is primarily used as a tool by capitalists to justify their actions and to keep an iron grip on popular "common sense" with regards to things like this.

This brings to mind another kind of unrelated subject I've been dwelling on lately, if you look at what's happening in the right wing sphere you'll notice they have basically their own exclusive sphere of "news". The right wing has essentially developed their own "reality" to synthesize their own fictional/distorted "news" and if they can convince someone to believe even one of these pieces of "news" thats so divorced from reality, it creates a logical contradiction between the "news" and the real world, through which they can respond "this is the news they DONT tell you" and entrap that person into accepting the right wing "news" sphere as the "objective reality". You see crazy things like "we have to buy greenland" that sound insane but thats just parts of the right wing "news" sphere leaking out to the rest, to them its common sense because its fairly consistent with the beliefs introduced by their prior "news".

I think the attack on Iran also an extension of this.
